I lust bought a 1987 ford F150 the front tank has been disabled. The previous owner removed the tank selector valve and switch and ran a toggle switch for the fuel pumps. The issue I am having is that the gas gauge generally reads full but occasionally will read a differant fuel level. I was wondering how the fuel gauge should be wired to get around the tank selector switch. Thank!
