10K miles later, so maybe it's time for another 20oz Techron Concentrate Plus treatment.
Are the wires Motorcraft, or some aftermarket brand & did you check their resistance before you installed them & did you route them like the factory wires were routed, using all of the wire looms?????
Probably a good idea to pull #3 plug & inspect it's gap & internal/external ceramic insulators for chips, cracks or deposits.
If all that checks out, with the engine running have a look under hood at night for arcs & sparks, especially around #3 plug & wire & maybe do a "wet down" test, with a spray bottle of water & note any change in idle speed, or arcs & sparks as each wire is wet down.
