clutch pedal play *VIDEO INSIDE* please watch

sorry for the crappy vid, was taken with my blackberry.

so ive been having a problem with my clutch not dissengaging, i think i found the problem. thoughts?

Looks like a little welding is in your future.The bracket looks busted from what little bit i can see.

well ive bought all the bushings off lmc a few days ago, but it looks like i need to order an entire pedal pox assembly?

Well, that explains why the bushing was tore up like it was being cut.

ya and if youll notice the shaft moves back towards the driver seat, not allowing the clutch to be fully depressed

looks like you got some bushings and fun to replace today buddy.

The piece that you drill out for the heim joint. I would suggest going and getting the whole new piece, because its a pressed on piece, the notches might not line up the way yoru old one did, and if you don't line it up, you'll spin the piece out.

Nice work. I'd spend a whole day fixing that one and still think I came out ahead and saved $$.

Talyn, that's a spline fit, not a press fit, the nut only holds it together. You have adjustability, but it is in increments. A new part isn't going to be any better that what he bought, swap the whole shaft if you want to keep the parts paired.

well, i bought a great conidition used pedal box for less then half of what a new one cost frm lmc. so i saved a few bucks.

This was a fun project. LOL.
Yes that is definately something to look at as far as wear and PM.
Makes me want to inspect mine real close for sure.

That is once I get my throttle pedal back. LOL.

Do you still have the pedal bushings? I need to do all the bushings in mine and I was gonna go up the the ford stealership but if you don't need them anymore i will buy them off you.. PM me
