Balmy in Juneau 41F. Headed to Anchorage tonight get to low ride in a ford focus for a few days. Always feel like going to get road rash on my butt when drive rental car.

 

Some sad news in the family yesterday.

Lost my Aunt.

38F again today and a really nice ride on the snogo's taking the family up to the village to get ready for the funeral.
Be another trip with dad and sister from MT tomarrow.

 

Was nice weather for the funeral.
Snow was falling gently and no wind.

Might go look for ptarmy's soon.

 

Seen a ptarmy here the other day. Boy are they scarce. Unless ya go up into the alpine. Sure are tasty little fowls, prolly why they are so scarce. Anything and everything that eats meat here prays on them. I would like to plant some blue grouse here. Bet they would do very well.

Blowing and raining here. Looks like Katrina all over. Not a good day for boating or bush planes.

 

Lots of ptarmy's out here. But i think their cycle is do for a crash. Been to many good yrs.
Wife is even getting antsy to go ice fishing for pike.

 

im getting sick of the above freezing temps. i'd like to keep my trucks clean! ugh lol

 

Next year when the economy crashes you will be glad there are lots of them.
