Flat top has snow, sticking in the parking lot and road going up. I'm starting to get all the snow tires changed over on mine and my family's trucks. still have not done mine though...

 

the studs been on the ex since it was legal so far.

 

I don't wanna tear up my soft tires well there is still dry pavement,

 

good luck with that one, you know the way it is, ice, melt ice melt, cant put them on and off every other day.

 

mid winter is fine, but why drive around on them with no snow in the forecast.

 

snows easy to get traction on, its the rain freeze rain freeze that they are needed.

 

packed snow turns to ice...

 

now this is true, i know i dont have as much of a problem on PACKED SNOW ice as i do on freezing rain tho or BLACK ICE as they call it.

 

Nothing but rain here. Everything is washing
out and or flooding. I am thinking snow would
be better at this point.

 

So happy to be back in AK. Had to make a quick trip to Seattle..spent about 18 hours there and headed back home. weather was nice there though today..about 60*

 

clear weather forecast here till day I leave forthe lower 48...

then rain and snow...

might be glad TO get on that plane

Been busy moving a freezer van in the back yard along with getting the wife's steam bath ready to move also.
Also have a new daughter as of last month that is keeping me busy.

Anchorage greed shoots down one time registration fee for 8 year old and older vehicles.. i seen that comming, they do whats best for the MOA not for the people.
