Anyone ever deal with InlineTube.com?

Inline Tube - Preformed Stainless & OEM Brake Line Sets

I ordered a stainless steel brake line kit for my '86 F350 from them a few days ago and haven't heard anything since. They advertise they ship within 48 hours and that was yesterday. I emailed them for an update yesterday morning with no response as of this post. I'm getting kind of worried as I need to get my truck up and running by Monday next week.

Ive heard of them but havent bought from them.

The two places I was going to use if they could custom bend me some brake lines for a kit car would be Inline or classictube.

But I would give them a couple days both of them are major companies and both are listed in my Hemings collector car almanic so they have to be legit.

The lack of an email reply is what is getting to me. Their "we ship within 24-48 hours of the order" guarantee is moot at this point.

I've ordered from them several times before. Their customer service is kinda hit and miss. Sometimes I get great customer service and the thing is at my door next day and they bend over backwards to help me out. Other times I hear nothing then 3-4 days later it arrives. If you are worried about it I would call as emails sometimes get lost or take awhile to get responses from. I've had good luck with their products so far, and if anything has been off it wasn't by enough to matter.

I just got back a reply from their info email address. My parts should be shipping tomorrow. So much for the "24-48hr" turnaround. I might have to fork the money out just to get a temp line made until these guys parts arrive sometime late next week. I am not happy.

I would bring that up to them bout the 24-48 hour turn around. Maybe you can get the part for 1/2 cost or something for not getting it out in the 24-48 hour time frame.

I might just file a complaint with the BBB. I am done with trying to communicate with them. I asked for an ETA on shipping and never got a reply. I'm not good on the phone when mad so it probably wouldn't be the best for me to call them.

Their only reply to my original two inquiries:

We do have an order for a 1986 Ford F-350 4wd Power Disc Brake Line Set.
Should be leaving us within the next day or so.

Thats why I do not call places, its too easy for me to go off the handle. If I do it by email I can control myself and reply back when I am calmed down and not **** them off which might make things worse if you plan to do business with them in the future or take longer to get something sent out if are waiting on something.

I sent a email to a UK company making reproductions of the vintage late 60`s early 70`s racing jackets and I asked them what side the zipper was on. They replied back saying the zipper is in the center. I thought to myself no **** its in the center but which side is the zipper pull on the left or right. Guy I know bought some from a private seller on ebay and it was on the "wrong" side and he told them that we in the US put the zipper on the wrong side.

The reply to my email asking for an ETA that I got this morning:

(my name), wish we could give you a definite time on this but don't have one. We are extremely busy so it will be a couple more days to get this order shipped.
Since I was expecting to get a response like this, I capped my back brake lines off to get the vehicle in motion for the time being. Not safe but it is either that or I rent a vehicle until the brake lines get here.

In all honesty I expected this type of response from a toystore on the week before Christmas but not a company like this.

I agree. Maybe its a good thing that I am going to be buying bulk 3/8 stainless steel brake/fuel line and bend my own. Might be more work but atleast I wouldnt have to deal with this.
