I don't live that far from were Dave lives (lived?). When I go by his house now... things don't look the same from when I was sure he was living there. I hope nothing serious has happened to him.
But back to the nominations...

I will volunteer to be the SC Chapter leader. I've been hanging around a few of forums here on the board for a few years and found FTE to be both helpful and fun.
I am a DIY guy for simple stuff on my trucks, but know when it is time to get the pros involved. I live in Aiken and drive to Sumter frequently, and sometimes get to spend a few days at Ocean Lakes in Myrtle Beach.
I am not a SC native, although my wife is - so I am reminded often of the difference! I grew up in NJ, went to college in PA, and moved to SC after that.
I will admit that my first truck was a '73 Dodge that was government surplus from the Soil and Water Conservation Service. It was OK for hauling firewood and moving furniture, but when I needed something to tow with, I saw the light. First with an 87 Bronco and later a 93 F150. Those have all moved on to new owners, and my current crop of trucks is a pair of mismatched F250s and an F150. The 2WD F250 is mostly used with the camper, and the two 4x4s get used for hunting (one in Aiken county, the other in Sumter county) and hauling stuff for the farm.
