Got my Lariat XLT and it really does have the power over my old 6.4 and fuel mileage is about 4 miles per gallon better. NOW It broke down on me at 761 miles oil temp at 270. Sensor/valve in oil pan bad. So if you have one recommend keep your productivity screen on gages. Thats the only place you see oil temp. Ford is getting it fixed. I still love the truck

So, is it a Lariat, or an XLT? Either way, good luck, nice to hear the fuel economy numbers are up, not that they could have gotten too much worse...

Welcome to the site~!
I moved your topic to the 6.7l PSD forum.

Congratulations on your truck, sorry to hear it had a "hiccup". Let us know what ends up being wrong with it.

Turned out to be a sensor in the upper oil pan!

The 6.7 ltr has a upper and lower oil pan. The upper has a sensor/valve that was defective it is built into the upper pan. New on the way still love the truck.

Sorry to hear about your truck, but Congratulations, I think yours is the first problem ever reported with a 6.7 on FTE. Kinda bittersweet, but hope all goes well with your truck...

Upper and lower oil pan? I've never heard of that. Someone have a picture/diagram?
