replacing front axle shaft u-joint
#16
Thanks guys I was using the right section for anything motor related I'm getting quite informed on the 7.3 idi motor
This is what the search function keeps bringing up, seems to be the only relevant post
I guess I need to try wording it differently
Thanks for all the help guys. I would have to say this is one of the most helpful forums I've ever been on , least for trucks .

Yeah I've been using the search function and this is the one good post that comes up when I type in Dana 50 front, u-joint or any combination of such part.
I'm really wanting a no doubt part number for the u-joint so I can buy one!
Keep finding Dana 44 u- joints or nondescript rear u-joints is the front u- joint the same as the rear you joints
I know this much
8800lb GRV
4in hubs
Random obscure markings all over it that don't line up with any axle code information sheet except for tag that says 4.10
So I'm confidently assuming that I have the TTB Dana 50 fornt end,
Just need this I-joint
Do all the Dana 50s use the same one or where should I look to figure it out. And don't tell me advanced, O'Reilly's, Napa, or AutoZone because they're all idiots around here........well I lie, I haven't checked Napa because they're too damn expensive
