Yes Ranger Lariats have Badges.
I'd say it's a Ranger...
Lariats have very nice interiors...
Does it ever show the interior...?

Bud's F150 Ranger Lariat

Reading this made me flash back I live in Pasadena were most of the movie was filmed I was 20 years old when they were filming the movie had a few friends went there every day as extras seams like they paid $35 a day I drove past gilley's on the way home parking lot full during the day watching the movie I was suprised to see Bud's truck was just like my dads 78' 150 ranger lariat any way like the others said I fell that was a factory roll bar it had American Racing Vector wheels they came with black center caps go to you tube put in ''urban cowboy'' the first one is the opening to the movie lot of truck clips seams like clip 2 when they are fighting at the resturant you see the door open looks like lariat door panels but it does not have the lariat seat cover it is sad that every thing is gone now gilleys burned down in 89' all that was left was the shell of the rodeo arena it came down just a few years ago the building that they built the EL TORO bulls was tore down just last year Sherwood the man that owned all of this past away last year the only thing really left is the old gilley's sign that has been restored and now sits at a resturant with other memorbilia

You guys rock thanks for the info so the 2wd came with a roll bar factory? can't I find a aftermarket somewhere to me that set it off a bit. The info on gilleys I just wikipeda gilleys a few days ago he has a new bar I guess. In the movie it looked so big and was a huge part. It burned down I wonder insurance or pure accident who knows I guess. That movie changed the way people up north about country music and life to I think. I wouldn't mind having something similar to buds truck worth a try every cowboy has a dream lol

My wife and I were watching that movie this weekend, and I asked out loud "I wonder where that truck is today?". Was a cool old truck.

One thing in that movie that drives my wife nuts is whenever Sissy is pulling up and parking in her convertible Mustang, before she cuts off the car she revs it up. My wife always asks "Why does she do that?".
