I own 1993 bronco XLT and was thinking of upgrading my A/c fan blower
to help get the cooler air to the back faster is there an upgrade out there for that?
Remove the top and save the fuel. Better air conditioning and fresher air. Larger blower will most likely draw more electricity anyway. Just my silly little opinion. I never use my a/c even in St. Louis river valley summers.
Down here A/C is a REQUIREMENT. hmmm, i wonder if closing the top vents will help my A/C. Mine has the bad custom to divert the air there when i push the engine, rings any bells?.

I'll send a pic of mine asap but when i fixed mine there was only a lil bit of the line that was bad so cut the bad away and rehooked the rest .
I need to replace the tubing in mine also but it holds well enough for the most part. It only changes to the defrost occasionally but it's obviously chalky and breaking. Mine is a 92 and I've often wondered if there was a fan motor upgrade that would work well in our Broncos. I'm not in Venezuela but in Central Florida. Temps in the 90+ with humidity to match, taking the top off ain't good enough. My charge is good and I still even have a source for the R12 for awhile. It blows cold but just doesn't really put out as well as newer models vehicles. I know I also need to find a headliner to cut down on some of the radiating heat from the roof over my head and get the windows tinted. I'll be tinting the windows myself soon enough. I just need to install the new window sills in first or at the same time.
Is there a source for the original style/size, etc of the tube they used for the A/C vents? Also, does anyone know of a better blower for the newer FSBs?
