Hi 1986F150six, No i couldn't find a block under .60 thousandths. I kind of gave up for the time being.
Decided to do a short run on the 460. Short run being everthing but the rings and head gasket.

Passenger side

Drivers side much less petty

Front

I still plan on a 300 I6 but i don't entend on resleving one. May be one day.

Thanks for you're intereste 1986F150six

Re the 460 rebuild: The water pump front covers tend to rot away from the inside, creating leaks. Mine was. The aftermarket front cover I replaced it with has a much thicker wall in the area of erosion.

Hi Frenchtownflyer, i had some erosion but didn't think i was to bad. Someone had been in this 460 and it appears that thay had changed the water pump backing plate and timing cover.
I used Indian head gasket lacker on all the gaskets, a one piece oil pan gasket ect. Should have it in the truck by Saturday.

Hi old28, these are going on a pre fi head either of two i have collected. I would consider the offy "C" or the "DP". I am running the duel port myself but research in to both would be well worth your time and effort.

Thanks for the reply, I purchased a used DP this week along with a Clifford Valve cover. I really would like to run the HD exhaust manifold more for the looks. I know performance would be better with headers, but I like the old school cast Iron.

bullnose1985 -- Thanks for the reply. Not a lot of the 4 1/4" tall Cliffords floating around these days. I have my head set up with two rubber valve cover gaskets and a 1/4" CNCdude spacer that will clear my 1.7 aluminum roller rockers & poly locks with a standard Clifford 3 1/4".

Word is that they are going to make a run of the tall covers in the next few months, but they are not cheep.
