South Jersey State parks, anyone have a nice place for a family style BBQ!

 

Maybe turkey swamp park in freehold?

there is also allair a little farther south.
they usually have the steam train running on weekends during the summer

if you like south there's the cape may court house park and free zoo nice size also they rent picnic space with tables and the area also is under a roof for something like 35.00 it holds say 50 people had many good times there

 

I work swings on saturdays. So sunday would be better for me but let me know and maybee I can get saturday off.

 

i think saturdays are better for everyone. sundays church, and for south jersey id have to leave in the morning. church is 9:30 or 11:30 so i cant pull that one off.

 

County parks have a lot to offer. Tip Seaman Park (Ocean County) in Tuckerton, Freedom Field Route 539, Little Egg Harbor (Ocean County) Exit 58 GSP. Bathrooms, ample parking.

How far are they from either the GSP or NJ Turnpike?

 

Parvin state park is off Rt 55, which you can get to from exit 3 on the Turnpike. Fort mott is a few miles from the end of the turnpike.
