Building Stake Side Boards for my F250
I know some of you have built stake side-boards to fit into the holes in the side of your longbeds. The helpful folks at Home Depot showed me where to find 2 X 4's and brackets.
Rather then reinvent the wheel, could you guys share what materials and plans you used? I'm carrying firewood in my truck now and need the extra volume.
Thanks in advance for your help!

I haven't made side boards for my truck, but I do have carpentry experience.
I would think 2x2's would fit better than 2x4's, but you can cut them down I suppose.
Besides that, you could go with either 1x boards or plywood for the sides- it's up to you. 1x would probably be lighter and easier to handle.
