I'm looking for a pinout or wiring diagram for the factory overhead DVD player from a 2002 X. My truck used to have one but the previous owner removed it (or it was stolen). So I have a single plug that goes to nowhere and nothing to connect my rear heat controls (except the large Gray fan control plug).

Anyway, it appears that the rear heater control wires are in this harness which plugs into the DVD player. And then another set of wires comes out of the DVD and plugs into the heater controls (3 small plugs IIRC). Anyone have a factory DVD that can confirm this?

I've got a partial harness from the salvage yard, but want to make sure I'm wiring it correctly before I cut and splice. Also would like to see if there is an accessory delay power wire in that harness as well.

Also big thanks to menber "drunkensailor"... He emailed me complete wiring diagrams of DVD and heater control systems. Hopefully he will post here so I can rep him too.

 

Anyway we can get this sticky'ed?

I have a 6 cd changer that I can't get the CD unit to work (Initializing...CD Error) and would love to replace the head unit, but don't want to completely blow the read DVD (unless I can jam a larger screen in the overhead console, anyone!)

So that wiring diagram would be great to have floating around on here.
