2009/10 Navigator 2nd Row Buckets to Bench Swap?

Hey all - I have been looking into purchasing a CPO 2009/10 Lincoln Navigator to replace my 2007 Expy that my father wants... Unfortunately, almost all of the available vehicles have the rear buckets, which I think are a huge waste of space. Does anyone know if I can do a direct (or close to direct) swap for the 40/20/40 Rear Bench?

If I can, does anyone want to buy some rear buckets?

Any ideas or thoughts would be great, all my searches seem to talk about the older models.

Thanks!

You would need to remove the arm rests from the two buckets. Then you would need to pull the carpet up and see if the holes are there for the center seat. If so, get a used one, or a used 3-there is no bench, it's 3 separate seats, from ebay, craigslist, etc. and bolt them up. If there is no bolt holes, then that is a separate deal and will involve welding, etc.

Should look like this under the carpet. The middle seat fits in the slots.

With a piece of carpet and arm rests one can make buckets out of the bench (and vv.) (No armrests shown and not my truck.)

Have you looked under the carpet yet?

I would assume it would be easier to make all the floors the same but you never know.

My bet would be the holes are there already. Ford is good at streamlining production by making everything the same. My 03 F350 XL for example has holes for any combo of seats/consoles, although it isn't using them as it only has a bench (for now).

I was cleaning cheerios out last night and looked somewhat using the already existing holes. didn't see anything that looks like a mount

but from looking at those pictures above, I need to look back a few inches. I was only looking parallel with the current mounts.

Hope they are there. I really need that extra seat
