When I get home it will have been 7 months. Soldiers deploy for upwards of 12 months, though, so I can't complain.

Leaving for Wyoming in the morning or second grandchild, first granddaughter, is on the way her mother went into the hospital at 5am this morning.

No, I'm not career. I love being a Marine, but it's not really a family man's game. I'm working on the last year of a 5 year enlistment now. I have about 10 months left.

We are going to be able to stay on base my son was able to get us into on base billeting. I think it is the VOQ. And welcome home Marine, the wife and myself went to Virginia last year when my other son came home from deployment.
