I apologize, I wasn't thinking about the larger F-7 and F-8 trucks.
If it's for the F-7 and F-8 with the 337 I would doubt it would fit the smaller flathead and if it did it would be a low geared heavy beast. From the drawings it looks like they have different mounting surfaces. I'm sure it would take a lot of modifications to make it fit the frame without any benefit but I could be wrong.

F7 and F8 used the bigger flat V8 (337 cid) and the 5 spd trans.
The 5OD was standard on the F7 and optional on the F8.
The plain 5 spd was std on the F8 and optional on the F7.
IF I remember what the shop manual and operator's manual says.

I dont know if you guys are familiar with the 60s internationals, but they used 3 and 4 speed trans that should bolt right up to a ford. I have a 63 c1300 with a straight 6 and it has 4.88s and is SLOW. It has a three speed and a five speed with overdrive would be sweet for that truck. and if it did not bolt up as planned then it should go in my 54.
