We have a Hardee's here, which is the midwest version of Carl's Jr. The word "mediocre" is an apt description for pretty much all of their food.

That's correct!

I had to go check my facts to see if my memory was halfway close. Halfway is about right.

Amazing, isn't it? A guy who retired from my department just spent 3 months in the Phillipines. He was in this week doing some contract work for us, and someone commented that he had lost weight and asked about the food. He started telling us about all the multi-national chains that he visited. Sounded just like anywhere USA. His visa lapsed and they had to force him to leave.

Of course, the Phillipines are one thing. Vietnam is another, but I guess it is just a matter of time.

Pat, I agree about Hardee's. I went to one in WY last year, expecting to see the same menu choices as a Carl's Jr. out here. Not so. Not even close. We like Carl's Jr. a lot, and go there too much probably.

Oh, I figured they'd be about the same thing. I've never been to a Carl's. I'll have to try one when we head west on our California vacation. Not sure if that's next year, or the year after.

About the only thing they have in common is the smiling star.

I, too, prefer the Carl's menu over that at Hardee's.

There's only one thing I order from the Green Burrito menu, the fish tacos, and they're only so-so...

G'mornin' all!

Of all the "mexican" food places in So Cal, you liked Green Burrito the best? lol, there is actually a Green Burrito still here in Riverside, I think the address is 6008 Van Buren... only because there was already a Carl's Jr across the street so I guess they didn't feel the need to combine them.

Well, I didn't say "best", but you've got a good point. We don't exactly have a shortage of good TexMex places.

Good job on the sig, Aaron.

Yeah...140 sq ft of flatwork with a 6" curb 7' in length. It's for a guy that was the manager of our tooling group when I worked at Douglas in Torrance 20 years ago.

Gonna pour it (read: wheel it ) Monday morning.
