If its a crew cab... check out this info I put together for installing courtesy lights....
2004 F250 Door Courtesy Lights
The short version is...
- Remove the reflector lens and the screw behind it, 7mm socket needed I believe.
- Pop the window switch panel out, disconnect the wiring, and remove the screw behind it. 7mm again.
- Now lift up and then pull the panel away from the door to remove it.
Not sure how easy this will be with the seat in. You might end up needing to remove that first.

I forgot to mention this is a supercab and I can't get the drivers side back door open.
I need to find out how to get the door panel off, to be able to get to the mechanism that keeps the door shut/locked. A rag somehow got onto the latch jamb on the floor,
the last time the door was shut.
