Talking My $3500 F150.

Bought this 3 or 4 years ago and just got around to taking some new pics.

It's got 157k miles on it now. 2wd, 4R70W trans, XLT, 5.0. It's pretty much stock. Haven't done much to it except maintenance items, 12v headlight mod and E-Fan.

Here's the pics. Gotta love no rust. One spot on the tailgate I gotta fix and some surface rust on the frame. CT is rusting this truck more than it's ever seen in the past. Bought it out in NM off of my boss for $3500, was worth $5500 at the time. It's been repainted shortly before I bought it. It's flaking now and the hood is sun damaged, and the wheels are severely oxidized from the only winter it has seen.

Yeah, it needs a wash... Gotta do that and wash and wax the car today, car show season and there's a cruise on Fri and Sat this week.

You can still see the stamp on the leaf springs.

^ Sometimes I think it has a bit of a lazy look to it. I've thought of lifting it 2" but not sure I want to do that. The salt and crap here in the winter royally FUBAR'd the front wheels. I went over them with a brillo pad, it helped get the gunk and oxidation off the wheels, but the center section would be hard to do.

Don't lift it.

Sounds like you are wanting a different look and you are willing to put a little money into it. If so, I would suggest different rims ( I personally love the Ford Lightning rims ) and maybe paint your bumpers to match the truck.

I've been going through that lately too. I'm wanting a different look for my truck. I've recently discovered Rustolium and I've been fighting the urge to attack my truck with it.

4.10 gear, full length headers, rims and maybe a professional hood scoop. Better power and a different look. I think you'd be happy with it.

That's just me though!

^ I'll put some money into it, but not sure if I want to do LT's right now. I'd like to do a mustang X pipe system with some Flow 40's, but not right now. I'm on a very tight budget and this gas mileage needs to be as good as it can get. I'm gonna do some UDP's next. Running solid 13mpg city now, a LOT of hills and stop and go. No real HW #'s yet.

If you need mileage, forget the gears.

^ Yeah. It's ok stock. Could use a couple more ponies, but mods that won't effect the gas mileage that much. I'd love a throttle body, but those are typically expensive.
