Headded out to Rockingham Saturday morning and stayed for a little while then on to S.C. Wow what a day to ride. I think I am going to have to get a new pair of shades though I am starting to look like a racoon. lol. I hope the rest of the group is getting out and putting some miles on those bikes. Maybe we can all hook up and go on a group ride this spring. Well just wanted to chime in and say hi. Keep it shiney side up

I will be there rain or shine. Looking forward to it. Hopefully we can get some more participants. But a small group works good too. I enjoyed it alot last month and was good to meet you, especially since we live around the corner from each other. Trying to get a friend to come along but his schedule may not allow it. We will see. I Hope its not raining. Will be a good ride on the Bike.

Agreed sir. Maybe we should mention that we ain't afraid to go farther to have the monthly meal. As long as we have enough notice we can all get together halfway or something. Last night was great. Got to sit around and check out the bikes for a while. The weather was almost perfect. Food was very good. Temperature stayed the same when we came out, then a nice ride on the way home. How were the bugs on the ride home? I don't think I even hit one. Oh , Thanks again for the Chapter Stickers. I hope Lee made it home safe. I had a great time and look forward to next months. Well May is upon us and time to see if there is more interest in a GTG meal for May. If no one but us are going to attend I say we meet up and head out towards lee's area this month. Heading out to Ashe County from the 24th till the 29th other than that I will be there. Except for the 13th. That one is reserved for mama. Let me know and I hope we can gain some interest.

 

Yes. Time for another fine meal with friends. Ill get with Lee and see what he suggests. Ill get back with yall and we'll make plans.

Put a new set of sprockets and new chain on the bike last week. Also a new set of pads up front. Got 16k miles out of the last set of sprockets and chain.

Currently posting from the front porch of a cabin at camp seagull during our spring outing. Kids are in their bunks. Dads on the porch watching the storms roll through. Had a small leak in the roof but not getting anyone's bed wet so we're a good. Still lightening and thundering but the rain has slacked off considerably. Had a fantastic weekend with my kid. Going fishing in the morning. Then hauling back to garner for a soccer game tomorrow afternoon.

Anyday works out ok for me. I will be there. You can tell we are Tarheels, somehow every month revolves around BBQ. LOL. And it is GOOD.

Wednesday will probably work better for me but the weather may be crappy if that makes a difference to any one.

I don't think Lee will be able to make it this week. His wife has had some medical issues.

So Wednesday, or next week if that works better.

While Willie and I can hold our own, we would love to see other members join the club. Although, you won't be a full patch member until three consecutive meals. Up to that point you will be on probation and your eating style and habbits will be critiqued by the charter members. If deemed suitable for the club after three meals you will be beaten with a hog leg until submission. At which point you will have earned your patch and full member status.

 

Sorry to hear about Lee's wife and I hope everything is going to be alright. Hey if it would work out for Lee next wed. would be ok too. Or tomorrow is fine also. If its just us, You wanna do McCalls again? It was good food and close by for both of us. Or both is cool too. I love me some BBQ. Let me know and I will be there.

There is a small gathering at Speedy's BBQ in Lexington. Already about five guys confirmed and a few more stragglers and maybes. It's probably about two hours from us. We can hook up and ride there and back. Take 64 most of the way. Takes us right into Lexington. Hoping Lee can make the ride as well.

This also gives our Piedmont members a chance to get together.
