Amen, brother. Already put 75 miles on it since last night at 6pm. Its taking some getting used to compared to the 78 oldwing. I'm like a kid with a new toy.

 

Well it's been awful quiet on here lately, The frozen chosen will have a great ride home on this sunny day. Gonna waste a little gas on the way home and cruise around and hit a couple back roads. Happy riding to all who are out today.

 

Today is only the second day since the beginning of october that I have taken my truck to work. Got soaked yesterday on the bike. My gear took the soaking I was dry. I have two kayaks on my truck. Going to trade for a canoe today.
Last week I put on two new tires. Changed the oil and filter and air filter. While I had the gas tank up and filter box off I replaced some brittle oil and fuel lines.

 

Today was a great day. Got out and put 153 miles on the bike and had a really nice time, chilly in the morning but got beautiful by noon. I hope everyone else got out there and did the same.

 

Lucky guy!! I got to spend the day cleaning out the shed so I work on the bike this week. I've been way to lazy and still haven't gotten her ready for paint...

 

Time to try to start planning a GTG for March. The weather is starting to climb up on the mercury a little bit and I for one would like to meet some of you guys in person. Tried to get together with NCHeavymetal but the darkside of the force was against us. Lxlmariuslxl I bought my VTX in Wake Forrest last month. So, Lets get some ideas going and set a date and time. East side, West side, or in between. Lets see the Brotherhood of N.C riders get together. How about the weekend of the 24th ?

 

Well i never took my bike apart for paint like I wanted, the weather is too good! But I did fix the charging problem so I'm down for a ride!

 

Sorry to hear you didn't get to start on the paint. But at least it is now charging and can ride. All we need now is to get everyone onboard. Come on N.C Chapter. Lets all get together and break bread, Go riding or something.

 

I can do the 24th but it will need to be a late lunch/early dinner or something. I have a soccer game to coach at 11:15. Should be done and ready to hit the road around one. If later doesn't work for the rest then I'll try to show up late. I'd rather some get together then none.

Toss up some places to meet and some times.

 

Sweet, I am good with a late lunch. This time lets hook up in the middle and ride there together. I live in the cleveland area so I'm just around the corner. I am game for about anything or anywhere. It looks like a decent day today so I am gonne get out a little later and run down to a friends house past Lillington. Nice ride in the country. But tomorrow if the weatherman is right i"m looking at a 200 mile day easy.Well let me know and I will be there. It is officailly time to ride. Keep it shiney side up.

Saturday we ended up going down to Fuquay and taking a back road all the way around Jordan Lake. Still a little chilly in the shade but wow it was a great ride. A friend found it on some bike route. Sunday we headed up to the 97 Roadhouse outside of Zebulon then back to the Little bBrown Jug in Smithfield and finished the day throwing darts. In all a great weekend. I hope everyone else had a great one too.

 

Well the GTG really isn't picking up any steam. Everyone I ride with wants to head out for the weekend next weekend. So I am gonna drop out of the GTG. As long as the weather permits I am gonna ride. Sorry but this is a group that is pretty certain if the sun is up were gonna ride. Maybe next time if some members want to I'll be there.
