so i have a 71 f250 4x4 that i just pulled my 410 out of and sold, and 4sp that is coming out right behind it. also have a 77 f250 2wd with a 460/c6 that im going to swap in. I know about needing the different tailshaft for the c6 and i have the radiator tranny cooler all on the 77 that im using, my question is will the motor mounts on the 2wd work for my swap or do i need to get ones from a 4wd? also i will need a 4x4 oil pan and headers but everything else im pretty sure i have. If i can use the mounts i have i will otherwise i will probably go with the l&l kit minus the headers (want maddogs instead)

 

I have a tail shaft if You're interested, it has been sitting in My garage for 5 or 10 years. I don't think I'll be needing it, I had saved it just in case. Dan

You need aftermarket mounts. and a rear sump pan and pickup.

Just the mounts? on the LandL site it says early 4wd need towers too and it shows a pic of them but i cant see how mine would use them and they are like $300. The mounts alone are $125 and ive not heard good things about them. they seem very overpriced on everything and id prefer to use nothing from them if possible. who else makes mounts? any info i can get is very appreciated
