Question Ticking Noise

96 F-250 351 2wd
I have a ticking noise that is coming from the passenger side of the engine bay. I though exhaust leak but can't find any noticeable crack or anything. If I lay under the truck, it is definitely louder telling me its towards the bottom side of the engine. At idle, you can hardly hear it compared to when I am accelerating. Any ideas or should I be looking closer for an exhaust leak? Is it anything I should be concerned about?

Thanks,

Chris

My started doing the same thing. I'm 99% sure it's the smog pump on mine. Pull the belt off then you can figure out if it's exhaust or something run by the drive belt.
