ahh I was thinking is was concrete or adobe. Like the billeted grill. You put that on?

Yes i did. Funny story about that...You have to cut the grille out of the surround. And when I lived up in the mountains of northern Arizona, the surround cracked when ice got under it. Now the only option is to buy a new ford grille and cut another surround out of it.

It really irks me just thinking about it. Some day I might try to make a new one out of fiberglass.

Rocky...I have done all that you mentioned on my 02.It is just time consuming.I do recommend renting or buying a ball joint press.Those things are a pain to get out/in without one.

I heard that. About 2 weeks ago on my daughters Ford explorior

knew I was in trouble when I had to start torching the rear bolts to remove the pinion end. Then hammer then bigger hammer then soaking then 4 pound sledge and chissel and 8 hrs later it was done. Just about kick my tail. I dont think a press would have help on those they were dang near weld in there.

I just posted you in the genral area. If you hit edit at the top you can drag the tear drop where ever you want it and then hit save at the top left and the done.
