I have a 78 f-250 almost restored...down to lights and wiring. The issue: When my headlights are on, my left blinker does not work and the blinker arrow on my instrument cluster is solid green. When my head lights are off and the left blinker on, all my blinkers (F/R, L/R) flash very dimmly. The right side blinker works fine all the time.
Also, when my headlights are on there is juice to the left front marker light/blinker (used a bulb tester) but the bulb will not light up (I have triple checked the bulbs and they are good).
Any ideas on where the short/issue could be located?
Change you left side bulbs. I just had this happen to me. One of my turn signals was "going out" the finally went out, changed the bulb and was just fine. Good Luck

Also check for a bad connection in the socket.
First off you have a ground problem. I just had this issue and I had to replace the pass. side blinker and park light socket. Problem solved for me....
