You won't get near what you put into it back on a sale. Why the thoughts of selling your rig?

Honestly, I am just tired of working on it all the time. It seems like every day I have off I am working on it and I would rather be spending time with my family. I do enjoy working on it but after putting 12k in the motor it makes me sick to still have to fix oil leaks here and there and suspension problems everywhere. I owe 14k on it and still owe about 2500 from the motor stuff so if I could get 16,500 I would be happy as hell. But I know that won't ever happen.

Personally I think that truck looks rediculous! Its as *** dragger!!! Also not crazy about the front bumper. I also don't get a warm and fuzzy feeling from the write up. . . . "EXTRA EXTRA read all about it, dealer finds a diamond in the rough. . . This car is a rare find" BOGASS!!!!!
Timmy
Plus dude, its an 03. . . whole new set of problems!

It's a 6.0L. You'll STILL be working on a truck all the time. The difference is your 7.3L is a built machine, and faster than the 6.0L, even tuned...

Get yours tightened up and don't look back...

6.0's *can* be reliable, but you're looking at head studs, EGR delete or EGR cooler maintenance, turbo, and injectors. So basically, add $5,000 in "fix-it work" right after you buy it. ESPECIALLY coming from a dealership, unless they somehow have maintenance records, you have to assume 1) regular maintenance wasn't done, and 2) it was traded in to get rid of a headache.

If you're tired of working on your truck now, you'll get SICK of working on that 6.0.
If you want to stop working on your truck, go buy a brand new one with an extended warrenty.
And then go work overtime to pay it off, still not getting much time to spend with the family.

Thanks for the responses guys, i've changed my mind about that truck. Probably going to get mine all tightend up keep her for a while. I love my truck, but my wife hates it cause of all the money I have to put in it. I figure with another 1000 or so I can have a pretty much brand new truck.
