????2000 7.3 loss of power??????

My 2000 F350 is greatly losing power and smoking when I'm pulling a load like the bob cat or something that size. But it doesn't do it all the time. I changed the fuel filter and there is no change in performance. Can you please help. It has 200,000 miles on it. thanks in advace for the advise,

with a loss of power all of a sudden, i would check IC boots and plenium boots for leaks. do you have any gauges? what is your boost and egts? i would assume you have some type of boost leak. check all connections and look at the up-pipes for soot. you can make a boost leak tester. just search for it here...its a pvc end cap with an air compressor fitting. good luck....

What color is the smoke? When does it smoke? Going up a hill, getting on it, or all the time? Do you have a chip or tuner? How much power are you losing? What air intake to you have? How old is the engine oil, and is it full? Have you checked the Intercooler pipes or up pipes for any leaks?

the truck is copletely stock. no chip or intake or anything like that. The oil is new. i have not checked for lesks in the intercooler. It is getting worse though. now it will lose power whith or without a load. When it loses power, its real bad. barely makes it home. it is still smoking but the smoke is a light smoke. not sure what color. Any ideas? thank you for your help.

Check the screens in the mixing chamber inside the fuel tank. Sounds like it might be a fuel restriction.
