Ways to install gooseneck hitch
so I have this style hitch that I found at the junk yard and was thinking of how to install it. I'd like to just slip in some thin rectangular tubing on the flat spot of my frame but it's supposed to be like 4 inches past the front axle. Any good write ups on this ? I do have a welder FYI that I know how to work.

You need to go back to the salvage yard and get the side plats and the cross bars.
