6.2 liter Mileage

I would think that you would have less weight in just the truck with a Raptor 150 than my crew cab 250. Your mileage is probably comperable to what I am getting with mine at 12.9mpg. What I don't like is that they said that this engine is 15% more fuel efficient that the 5.4. To me that is false advertising.

As much as I like the truck that part hurts, as a loyal Ford customer!!!

A Raptor is just above 6000 lbs for the super cab - not sure about the crew cab.

That is gross weight (vehicle plus max cargo). The curb weight is 6006 for the super cab and is not listed on the door sticker.

Here are the specs from Edmunds:

Yep, you really kept that money in the USA with your purchase of a Toyota. A Japanese product made in America, you helped keep a couple thousand Americans employed with that purchase, but you also helped keep the lights on in Toyota City, Japan. Even if that Toyota was built in the US, don't kid yourself into believing that you kept your money in the USA.

Raptor mpg...

My brother n law just bought a raptor, and through 4100 miles he is averaging 11.2 mpg.
Here's a tip. If your desire is for gas mileage, look at the hybrids and electric cars. I drive an F-350 4x4 Diesel Kingranch Dually, but I knew going into the purchase my fuel mileage would be bad.I have averaged 13.1 over 50,000 miles...still beating the pants off that raptor in fuel economy. It also will haul my 23,000 lb gooseneck as fast as I care to pull it!

I agree totally...if you are buying any big 4x4 truck for any reason besides a work truck,it better be for fun and playing. You better be well aware the fuel economy is going to suck!!
I love my 4x4 FX King Ranch Dually, it pulls the hell out of my boats and trailers, and it is an off road machine as well!!!

I've got 5200 miles on a 2011 supercab raptor. the first 3000 miles it averaged about 13mpg. Then the tranny control/ engine mangement system learned my driving style and as long as I keep it at the speed limit I am getting 16mpg on the highway. Just finished a 1200 round trip with 100 miles of it spent in 4wd in deep soft sand and averaged 13.7 for the total trip. Truck was loaded with 3 big guys fishing, camping gear and food for a week. Not bad for a 6000lb truck with over 400 hp. My 65 f100 with a 352 police interceptor motor gets 12 no matter how you drive it. 16mpg is an economy car to me!
