AIH delete..Removed Solenoid, BLUE WIRE??

i deleted AIH and i also got rid of the solenoid that controls it..soo i removed the red and black wires completely from the truck..i did this cause i figured it was pointless to remove the AIH and leave the solenoid there just with 2 wires on it..i electrical taped all the wires and just tucked them down in the engine valley..i will only get a soft code correct??? i want to keep the solenoid off the truck should i just put a resistor on the blue wire and take it to ground to be safe?? and if soo what size resistor should i buy??

I would measure the impedence on the windings for the relay and then go get a resister that is slightly more resistance than the relay.

i already got rid of everything except the 2 wires i took off the AIH the solenoid and AIH and thrown away..removing that solenoid definitely cleaned the valled up a little bit..would just puttin a resistor on the blue wire and then the other end to ground?? an if i dont it wont ever set a ses light?? it will just throw a soft code correct?? i heard the resistor is 470 ohms 2 watts??

i guess what my question is..if i just leave the solenoid out and the wires all just electrical taped off and not put a resistor on the blue wire it will never throw a SES dash light will it?? it will only just be a soft code?? and it wont ever hurt if i have to run any type of dianogstics test??

I run without a resister at all.
Just tape off the wire.
No SES light, but yes it does store a code.

yea but did you also take out the solenoid? and will it affect getting any type of test run on my truck if it does store a code??

i would think that it would not affect a test on the truck.
