Can anyone tell me what to do with the thumbwheel? In the haynes manuel to adjust the gear selector it says disconnect the shift cable did that then it says thumbwheel adjuster do i spin it turn it how far???Please help....Thanks

I think you are referring to the gauge adjustment on the dashboard? If so, leave all the cables connected and while in park turn the wheel until the needle is in the middle of P. Then check the other positions. If they are out, adjust it until it is in the middle of the gear you are in.
