Get Your Xplan pin From FoMoCo Customer Service

Called customer service today and they said they would issue me a pin from being a loyal Ford customer. He had a history of me in his database and said a pin shouldn't be a problem. He has issued many pins to peolpe who had no stock or partner qualifications. Give it a try. I'll check in here when I hear back.

What kind of discount can you expect from the plan?

It basically gives you invoice minus rebates. Not awesome, but makes the negotiating easy. Dealers have the right to refuse xplan though.

Which FoMoCo customer service entity do you call? Local, regional, corporate?? I was able to X-Plan ( I think it was called "Friends and Neighbors" back then) through my old fleet rep in 2004 because I have a couple FMC corporate bonds. I still have them so maybe they will be nice and let me do it again.

There's three Ford pricing levels. MSRP, Xplan and A/Z/D plan. We all know what MSRP is. X plan is invoice +$100. A/Z/D plan is invoice minus all holdbacks. On my order, MSRP was $61215, X Plan was $55876.32 and A/Z/D Plan was $53,618.62.

The A/Z/D pricing is true dealer cost. X Plan seems like a fair price to me because dealer does profit, but not excessively. In my case, the dealer will make $2,257.70 on a loaded Lariat.

You should remember that you can always ask the dealer for X Plan pricing. He may not want to give you a pin number, but he can sure sell the vehicle for whatever price he wants. I simply asked for it and he gave it to me.

Just checked my company website and found I can get an X Plan PIN, now I might be able to save a little more money. Might actually make up for it being delivered 4 - 5 weeks late.

Close. A plan + 4% equals dealer invoice. Xplan is invoice + $100. So... X plan equals A plan + 4% + $100. Easy.
