one speed T case? and decode VIN

My 1976 f100 4x4 I recently bought has a single speed transfer case. It also has manual lock in hubs. I first assumed this was originally a full time 4X4 that someone later put the hubs on but I found the build sheet and one of the options was "free running frt hubs". What transfer case is this? The np 203? The stick has either 2wd or 4wd, I thought this setup was for fulltime only.

Also, could someone decode the VIN, its F11YR800747 and the doorplate reads 117 f110 LA4A18J, Thanks guys.
ps I was happy to find the original owners manual from 76 complete with star spangled bicentenniel motiff, build sheet, warranty card and loan paper, truck cost $4280.00 in 76', well equipped

F11= F100 4WD pickup
Y= 360 ci 2bbl V8 engine
R= San Jose Assembly Plant
800747=Are you sure the first digit is an 8? This is the sequential serial number and starts with a letter, not a number. 1976 numbers go from A00,001 to D25,000. My guess is the "8" is actually a "B".

WB 117= 117" wheelbase
Color =You didn't list a color code
Model F110= pickup, 4WD, 5350 lb GVW
Body LA4= (LA) black all vinyl Ranger XLT (4) styleside pickup bed
Trans A= 4 speed manual New Process 435
Axle 18J= (18) Ford 9" 3.50 2780 lb capacity non-locking (J) w/ power steering

I have since crawled under the t case and cleaned the grease off the plate, its a dana 21, research says its a single speed gear driven case. Not being a serious off roader, it will do, for me, it sure is compact, thanks for the help!
