Guys with the upgraded slide pins...

How freely did they move when you installed them? The one without the rubber tip is great but the one with the tip takes some umph to move. Is this normal?? The bores are polished shiny (used a scotch brite pad attached to a drill), but the bottom hole on both sides is still slightly pitted cause they were both corroded. I gotta get this back together tonight don't wanna do something that will damaged the new pads or rotors. HELP!

Mine were stiff and I had the same concerns as you. I LUBED THEM REAL GOOD, but made sure they moved; no problems since October 08'.

The ones with the rubber are very difficult to move once lubed, but once installed have given me very satisfactory performance.

OK, I've read those directions a few times and never picked up on the OEM upgraded slide pins have on with a rubber tip. Learned something!
