I can't remember if I told everyone, but I pull a 9k pound concession trailer with my 2010 F250. I'm just back from my first time at the Florida International Air Show as a food vendor. Last Thursday all the vendors were let onto the tarmac all at the same time for setup. The pull vehicle (mostly pick ups) count was as follows: 7 F250s (including mine), 1 F350, 2 F450s, 1 GMC Sierra HD and 1 Dodge 2500 HD. Good Lord do you think Ford still rules the South? WOW!
Wyoming is another state where the Super Duty is in the majority. First time I took my wife up there, she asked me if everyone in WY owned a Super Duty.
while I don't doubt there are a TON for sale (seems like every truck on ebay comes from Texas) I imagine it's like most places, where the seller re-lists every 2-3 days to keep their add on the first page. I have come across a BUNCH of trucks that I considered driving, or probably more like flying from NC, to buy. One thing I don't like about most of them is the ranch hand bumpers. Not a big fan of big aftermarket bumpers. Depends on the truck (lift, color scheme, etc) but I understand the necessity of them in TX.
