change in gas tank for 75 highboy

THANKS IN ADVANCE!! i need some gas tank swaps for my 75 highboy wanting to put in in the back above the back axle area, i have bought a new one for regular truck and turned it side ways like someone had suggested but it leaves little roon for anything, don't think i will use that swap it was an original gas tank for a 75 non highboy truck.

A gas tank from a Bronco II fits between the highboys narrower frame.

That would be about the cheapest way... Move the rear crossmember back a bit, fab a new one for the front so you mount the tank straps. The more expensive way would be to get a tank from aerotanks.com They are very expensive, but larger capacity. You still have to do a little modification since their design of the tank is off a bit, but nothing major.
