Ford rearend

Hi guys nice website, So i was kicking around in some tall grass at my brothers new house & came across a rearend It has a "N' on the housing it looks casted in, not welded ,here's what the tag says "3.73 E1TA BZA 605022-1" I believe it a model 61 spicer is this thing worth anything or just it's weight in scrap?? any help would be great...thanks

That is a nodular case and yes they have some value. I will gladly give you scrap dollar for it.

Whatever someone will pay for it, really. It's an unknown, and was removed and thrown out there for a reason.
Usually, though, you only hear excitement about a nodular housing in regards to a Ford 9". A D61 isn't that great of an axle, very limited gearing and traction adder selection.

I agree I had a ford 9" nodular out of a torino & a 351cj to boot BIG heads. off to the bone yard it goes I guess....
