K&n CAI whistle problem????

I just installed a K&N CAI for my 2008 F-150, 5.4L V8. I love the throttle response, power, sound and increase in mpg that I got with it. The only issue is that I am getting a whistling sound, while driving, around 1000-1400 rpm. I checked the connections/fitting and they were all tight. I called K&N and they said that its prob the air passing over the throttle blade, and there is nothing I can do about it.. Anyone have this problem? If so, I am open to suggestions. Thanks....

Honestly?

Put the stock intake back on. Do the Gotts mod instead and use the money towards a programmer with custom tunes.
