I know that, But we didn't open the hood, with being 34 years old, it could really have ANYTHING under the hood.

The 460 was the standard for the Super Camper Special.

Ah, thanks for the info and pic!

Yo Anthony-

I have a functional (but worn) horn bar for ya if you end up with that bad boy. I hope ya do! The uber-macho lumber rack is worth the price.

What Size "Super Singles" does your SCS run?

I'm interested in hearing what alternative size tire/wheel combinations other SCS owners have gone with?

I'd be interested in knowing wheel diameter & width and tire size. And if you run staggered F/R sizes or identical F/R sizes??

Pictures would be really cool, as part of what makes the SCS unique is the "Super-Single" wide rear tire/wheel combo.

What you see on my signature picture are 16.5 x 10 Outlaw I's front and rear.

Front tires: 31 x 10.50R/16.5 LT (roughly a 265/75 in metric)
Rear tires: 35 x 11.50R/16.5 LT (roughly a 295/75 in metric)

(These 35's effectively turn the 4.10:1 diff into a 3.73:1!)

Since the pic's were taken, I've fitted pre-97 F250/F350 "Alcoa-style" wheels that are 16 x 8. I'm also running LT 245/75R16's on all four.

For the future, cool staggered "Super-Single" look, I'm thinking of staying with the 245/75R16's on front 16x8's and doing 305/75R16's on rear 16x10's
