VIN verification
I have a 73 SCS, 390, NP435, D70. I just ordered a Marti report myself, I think it was the deluxe. Anyway, I went to register and transfer title at AAA and we couldn't find the VIN. They said I need to get it verified at the CHP (CA Highway Patrol). The previous owner removed the door tag. Where is the VIN on this vehicle? Was it on the door tag?

Marti Report weights
I ordered a Marti Report and they asking for the weights. I am missing the door tag. Its a 73, F350, SCS, 390, NP435, D70. Does anyone know what they are? They are looking for GVRW; Front; Rear. They said they could estimate if I can't come up with them. Its a little frustrating. One of the reasons I ordered a Marti Report was so they could give me this type of information. The guy asked me to get the info off the door tag...well if I had a door tag I wouldn't need a Marti Report.

super camper question
Hey
Any of you know what the toggle switch below the headlight/wiper switches is for? Mine looks factory. It is a long toggle switch with a red jewel light lens on the left of it.
Having a hard time finding a consistent ID on it's use. Marker lights, fuel tank relay, fuel tank pump?
I felt up there behind the dash and there's a wire going to the light but none to the switch itself. The back of the toggle switch feels like the flat pin configuration of a relay plug.
Anyone else got one of these on their SCS?
Thanks.

Jack Placement/location
Hi All. Does anyone have a picture of their engine compartment that shows their jack location? I know it goes on the inner fender of the driver side, about mid way but something is amiss on my 74 F350 SCS. My truck had the optional dual battery set up so I don't know if that makes a difference or not. Thanks!

Found a SCS bed at the JY today. Pretty darn solid and I almost bought the spare tire door but it was dented about 2 inches on the bottom.
It was mounted on a F150 frame and must have previously been a Supercab cause it fit the rear wheels pretty good.
I would have taken the bed but I already have a spare.
It's at Pauls Auto Yard in Westville, IN if anyone needs one.

I am thinking of adding a tach to my 74 F350 and am still researching it. I like the look of those nice round tachs (kind of a classic chrome look) that attached to the steering column. I need to find out who makes those tachs and how much. I have seen some of the multiple gauges that folks attach underneath the bottom of the dash panel, near the ignition switch.
