Have a 73 F-350 SCS camper special that is an abandoned family project that we decided was too much work to convert to 4WD. Dad bought it new and always wished it was 4x4. Avocado green, 360 C6 D70 with factory side spare carrier and dual tanks.

Wish me luck. I'll post more when I get her home.
Nice looking truck. I have family in Vegas and none of them let me know this beauty was out there.

My 1978 with breakdown of the Marti Report. The original front seat was under two seat covers and probably covered since day 2.

Thanks, made it back to Dallas this afternoon with the SCS. It was actually in Mohave Valley, AZ. I had to fly into Vegas then catch bus to Bullhead City. It was quite the adventure but the old 460 did pretty good. Even managed to average 12.3 mpg running 65 most of the way.

And my family would intentionally not tell me about another old truck for sale. LOL

BTW
My Dana 70 differential started leaking a little on the way home after about 600 miles. My first thought was that the vent / breather might be dirty and clogged causing it to build a little pressure, forcing oil out the seals. I crawled under and looked all over the differential and could not find a vent. Do these not have a vent? or am I overlooking it somewhere?

The vent is also the bolt that holds the rear brake hose bracket to the axle tube. Just a hollow bolt with a cap on it. Could be plugged or maybe just old seals.

Thanks, now that it's home and I have some light found it. It actually has a breather hose that runs up thru the frame and towards the back. Some previous "mechanic" used the hose to attach a trailer wire loom holder and plugged the vent. It's breathing now and with a little luck it'll seal itself back up. I just hope the rear brake shoes aren't oil soaked now.

Now that she's in Texas had a chance to tinker with and clean her up some today. I'm really liking the old truck.

This was a 1974 with a 390 C6 and 4.10 gears and 98k miles
Here are some that I have bought and sold in the past. I’m a big fan of these trucks.
