A 4-Speed. (I'm the only one in here with a 4-Speed)
As for the engine, I don't know, it was swapped in before we bought it.
I think it has a very special cam in it.

4 speed would be nice but I wasn't trying to be picky, I Haven't actually seen one on a f350 camper special.
Wow, I have already averaged 10.5 mpg and don't have it tuned in yet. This is unloaded, I Haven't hauled any heavy loads yet.

from what ive seen/heard 10.5 is pretty darn good for a 460! heck the 2005 dodge small block im forced to drive at work only gets 15 and dont pull near as hard as my ford did

My dad has put a-lot of stuff in the truck.
Of Course he had to tie it down real well, then get on the freeway and go 120MPH...

Although my truck is a Ranger-XLT Trim Package, It's pretty bare bones, it was obviously gonna be a work truck.

Your not alone.....have a 76 SCS with a 4spd, but it was originally an auto. It was my Dad's truck that he brought home sometime in 1976. I think he fixed/replaced the C-6 three times and the last time it went out, he vowed he was going to make it a stick shift. I have the truck now and I haven't decided if Im going to put the C-6 back in or not. Last year I bought a 79 F-350 for 500 but its not an SCS. Has everything like the 76, but no dual batteries. The interior of the 79 needs the most attention, its not trashed just dirty and well worn. Needs a nice carpet kit to replace the vinyl mat. The 76 needs a ring and pinion and the engine replaced/rebuilt. Both trucks have the 460. But my biggest problem is my GF......she doesnt know I bought the 79 which is sitting at an ex-girlfriends house. Needless to say....she'd freek if she found out. (I sooo need to get some pics posted up here.....)

I've got a question for you guys. I'm restoring my SCS and will be in need of the chrome rocker moulding that goes on the bottom of the truck. I know the cab and fender trim is all the same but where would I find the trim for the bed? Anyone make it anymore? And if not, can the trim from the other trucks be modified to fit? I'm not sure what the difference in length of the pieces is and haven't had any luck finding any. Mine was pretty beat up.
