There's an SCS at my local Junkyard, want me to go pull the spare mount bracket off of it?

Just found out the front beams are very desirable and hard to come by on these trucks, the racers love them. The standard one's are 1.5" wide and these are 2" wide. I'm sure you can snag those and make a buck off them, or at least keep them from being melted into scrap.

If I were you, I'd pull anything pertaining to the spare tire carrier, including the panel, trim pieces, and hardware off the bed. In the time I've been here, I've seen lots of people looking for odd and end parts for these.

I've found a '78 SCS very near me that I'm trying to decide if I can get away with buying without my wife killing me. It's missing the bedside panel...

There are no "Racers" in Wa (other than me and I have an entire SCS parts truck) that would want Ford I-beams.

I will pull the spare bracket and the hardware but the panel is junk.

These come up in the yards every once in a while around here.

It did not have a Slide Out Rear Bumper.

Will be going to pull parts off it tomorrow for people.
