my up pipes look good

Hey guys, im not getting as good a mileage as i used to. I checked my up pipes and they dont have soot all over the connectors(no soot at all on them) so im assuming that they are good? Im thinking the reduced mileage must be from a plugged EBV valve tube? The truck doesnt seem to have the throttle response as it used to...and when i really get on it, it smokes more than it used to too. Could there be any other things i should check? I'm gonna clean the intercooler pipes too by the way...make sure they arent leaking. I did some searches but the EBV and up pipes are all i found for stuff that could reduce mileage. Any suggestions would be appreciated...thanks guys.

Check the EBPS tube for sure. Its not as bad as you think to get out of there.

If you are getting more smoke than you used to, that can only mean one thing - less air.

I would like some of the same info. Only I do not know what an EBPS tube is. Exhaust back pressure maybe????
If you all would mind spelling out some of the things for this thread I would appreciate it.

thanks
Joe
