I have a 2004 Excursion with a bad EGR Valve, cooler and oil cooler that need replacing. The dealership where I left the truck wants over $3000 for the job. Seems high to me and I'm not that confident that it will be done properly.

Any recomendations for a shop?

Well i am half way threw mine, manifold is off getting ready to pull oil cooler off tommorow 4 hrs in so far and I am not scared with shed tools. Oil cooler rebuild kit 340.00 from ford having egr welded up on both ends 50.00, napa intake gasket set 32.00 and coolant Napa Go5 same as ford. I have 126,000 miles and cleaned the turbo vains as well. Holey carbon batman. Worth the time for sure. Hoping to get out of the job for 500.00 and get a sct and have inivative diesel get me a custom tune for milage and pulling my 22ft ranger boat and "good gas milage".
