Troy,
BTS actually has a lifetime warrenty on a transmission? I need to remeber that in case I ever need one, hopefully not. Are they alot more $ than a normal rebuilt or new?

I think tommorow I am going to go fishing. I am going to put the charger on the boat batteries tonight and head out tommoorow afternoon if not raining. I have never open water fished this early before, should be good fishing.

Lee, BTS has a lifetime warranty on their trannys. The first two years I believe are covered for shipping and all repairs and then after two years you pay shipping but all repairs are covered. A tranny around here with a 1-2 yr warranty is around 3000 depending on what is done to it internally. BTS cost me 4300 but his trannys are all built the same regardless of the amount of horsepower wether you have 200hp or 800hp. I was willing to pay extra for the piece of mind that this will be the last tranny I have to buy. His trannys having an awesome reputation!

Hey Jay I tried calling and paying for my campsite but nobody answered so I will try again later.

Good to know the price, my brother will need one someday on his 02 7.3l. He nearly killed his tranny with 37s on it for a while, went back to 35s and different trans shifting strategy to help extend the life a little longer.

Just got back from fishing, more like boating, nothing biting.

I went to the Ford dealer today. There are no recalls on my truck.

Steve really knows his web sites. I asked the dealer where they look it up at and they said the Ford dealer net. They are supost to use the Ford website, but can not find where to do it. I laughed and said I can do it from home, he was not amused.
