Issue #1: Do you know what today is? I have a hard time believing anything I hear/read...lol.
If issue #1 is untrue, then I await your pictures!
Anyone have any idea what a bare bones 2WD Reg cab ex bed with zero options except for the 6.7 would run? Sticker on my 01 set up the same way was around 24K I believe. If the 2011 could be had for somewhere close to this I'd be all over it. I don't need any options. I bet it would rip too. 400+ HP and 750+ TQ is pretty close to double what my 7.3 is putting out and it moves very well with that.
Did you try out the build & price option on fordvheicles.com?

My dealer told me yesterday that their Ford Rep told him that the 2011's have been released and will be shipped next week. Mine was built a few weeks ago and is sitting. Hopefully he is correct.
Ford is trying to time it where there are trained techs there before they are released. I finished my training yesterday.
In 2004, there were +/- 4,600 dealerships in North America.
Assuming that number hasn't changed much, I sure hope this training project is near completion otherwise we’re going to be waiting even longer depending on how many trucks/trainer techs were dispatched.

The 2004 debacle is what they're trying to prevent. When I took my 6.0 training, we didn't have a 6.0 to work on. I got back to the dealership having to work on something that I'd never seen before.

I didn't know there was any issue in 2004, I was simply looking for total number of dealerships...haha. It just happened to be 2004 data that I discovered.
Yes, I agree the dealerships need the training.
I guess if someone has an issue in the first 50 miles a tech needs to know how to resolve it.
