Think this guy is a little off. Or am I off? LOL Not too bad for a grand. Needs a bumper and a grille.

LOL 4.10's?!?!? Hahahaha... I have the same setup but with 4x4 and the best I've seen is almost 17. I average without a load 16.
If I had matched injectors I might see 18 or so. But that's still 10MPG's lower than him.
Losing 400lbs for 4x4 doesn't get you that kind of mileage. He'd have to be running just over 3.something to even come close, with a perfect motor, IP, and injectors. AND drive like a grandpa.
Yeah, it's crazy. Best guy on this site for MPG has only touched 25, I think, and even that was one tank not average.

No need for a new truck !
I just made a 1600 mile trip from southern Nevada to Oregon and back, pulled a very overloaded trailer up and got 13.5 mpg and it took 19.5 hours BUT on the way back, empty it took 13.5 hours and I got 19.5 mpg ! 6.9L non turbo plain jane F250HD old truck ! I can see no reason to even look at the new trucks even if I could afford one. I paid <$17000 brand new out the showroon doors in 1984.....can't find a 4cyl Ranger for that today ! Mine may not have all the bells and do-dads and it rides like a TRUCK which is what I got it for in the first place ! Live on old FORD TRUCKS.....we still lov ya !
